Each faculty member must have at least one course evaluated each semester he/she teaches; however, Unit Standards may require more than one or all courses to be evaluated each semester (CBA 10.230). Starting Spring 2023, evaluations administered by the UFA-Admin Committee are conducted through Qualtrics Course Feedback Surveys. This instance of Qualtrics is separate from the university-wide system used for research.

Not all units have elected to use this system. Contact your department chair or program director to confirm the evaluation system used by your unit.

Access Your Qualtrics Dashboard 

Your profile in Qualtrics is not currently linked to your NetID or Microsoft login. New instructors will receive an email from Qualtrics with their username (@umontana.edu email address) and a temporary password after evaluations are launched each term. The password for this system is distinct from other university passwords unless you choose to set it the same.

Accessing Your Feedback:

Feedback survey results are made available each term after grades are rolled. To access your feedback dashboard:

  1. Visit the .
  2. Log in using your @umontana.edu email address.
  3. After logging in you will be presented with three options; "Qualtrics," "Dashboard Viewer," and "Customer Success Hub." Select "Dashboard Viewer."
  4. From the Dashboard Viewer, you will be presented with a default dashboard. Use the dropdown next the 老虎机攻略 logo in the upper left hand corner to select the dashboard you wish to view. Feedback can be filtered to the section level or reviewed as an overall report.

Key Dashboards:

  • Student Participation Tracker: Available each term to allow instructors to monitor participation rates during the feedback period.
  • Midterm Feedback: Participating instructors can access their mid-term feedback. This feedback is only available to the instructor and cannot be accessed by chairs, deans, or unit administrators.
  • End-of-term Feedback: Instructors can use this dashboard to access all of their feedback from each course evaluated using Qualtrics since Fall 2023.
  • Archived Feedback: Instructors can use this dashboard to access all of their feedback from each course evaluated using Qualtrics in Spring, Summer, and Fall part-of-term courses in 2023. 

Archived Evaluations (Fall 2020 - Fall 2022):

Our license with Blue Course Evaluations has ended, and these evaluations have been archived. If you need to retrieve an evaluation from this period, please email course.evaluations@umontana.edu

Optional Submission of Evaluations:

At the request of the UFA and the MCFA, the Office of the Provost has made the submission of university-sponsored course evaluation reports from Blue and Qualtrics optional for the 2022-2023 academic year and Spring 2020. Faculty members undergoing evaluation are encouraged to note this in their IPR.
