A few key points to consider:
Billing
Audited classes are assessed the same tuition and fee rates as classes taken for credit.
Deadlines
Students must opt into the audit grade mode by the 15th class day of the autumn and spring semesters or the equivalent for shortened part-of-term classes and the summer session. Switching to or from audit is not permitted after that date.

Full Classes
If enrollment in a course is closed, a student who is repeating or auditing the course may be required by the instructor to drop the course. It is the responsibility of the student who is not allowed to remain in the course to formally drop the course to avoid a failing grade for that course.
This rule grants enrollment preference to those students attempting to register for the course for the first time for credit.
Grading
A grade of AUD is recorded on the student's transcript for the audited class, which does not impact the student's grade point average or earned/attempted credits.
A student may not audit a class then later request to convert it to a credit-earning grade.
Instructors may establish attendance or participation requirements for their classes. If attendance expectations are not met, the instructor may request that a notation be placed on the student's academic record indicating unsatisfactory attendance.
