Residential Operations Coordinator
The Residential Operations Coordinator (ROC) position is a live-in staff member that will serve as an elevated student staff position for the Housing main office in Turner Hall. They will continue to work closely with their assigned communities to foster an atmosphere for academic, social, cultural, and emotional growth in the residence halls but with the additional duties of working hours at the Turner Hall main desk to assist the larger needs of the students on campus.
Please read the ROC Position Description for additional information about the ROC position. This position is 25 hours per week and a calendar year long leadership position starting in May and going to the following May, requiring work over the Summer semester.
Application Process
All Residential Operations Coordinators must complete an online application to be considered for the position. Candidates will indicate whether they are interested in the ROC position, Apartment CDC position, the Residence Hall CDC position, Senior RA, or all four.
Individual Interview
All CDC, SRA, and ROC candidates must attend a 45-minute individual interview. This interview will begin with a candidate presentation followed by a question and answer session to understand your interest in the position and related experience.
Presentation
All CDC, SRA, and ROC candidates must do a presentation as a part of the interview process. Your presentation will take place at the beginning of your interview and should be approximately 15 minutes. A presentation prompt will be provided during the application process.
Presentation suggestion: Please feel free to present this information in a way that you feel comfortable; be creative, energetic, and authentic. Please do not use Prezi as it is not accessible for all people.
Hiring Notification
All CDC, SRA, and ROC candidates will be notified of their hiring status in February.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2.5 GPA
- Be in good conduct standing with the University
- Be a full-time student (12-18 credits)
- Interest in working with people

July 30, 2025 - Residence Hall CDC/SRA Position/Training Begins (tentative, may be earlier in August if academic dates shift)
