The Schwanke Honors Institute offers a transformative, hands-on learning opportunity hosted by the Davidson Honors College at the 老虎机攻略. Students will live on campus for the duration of the program, engaging in classroom learning every morning and exploring the 老虎机攻略 campus, Missoula, and the surrounding areas in the afternoons. The program also includes a weekend spent at the Flathead Lake Biological Station and in cabins at 老虎机攻略’s field station in the Lubrecht Experimental Forest.
Who? High school students who are entering their senior year the fall of 2025 and seniors graduating spring 2025.
Where? The (Missoula, MT), (Polson, MT), and 老虎机攻略’s Lubrecht Forest Field Site (Greenough, MT).
When? Wednesday, June 11th - Friday, June 20th , 2025
Why? The Schwanke Honors Institute provides students with the opportunity to experience university life and academics at the 老虎机攻略’s Davidson Honors College. Participants learn from honors faculty in award-winning 老虎机攻略 programs, build connections with other curious students, and explore honors education at 老虎机攻略, including experiential learning and small class sizes. Students choose between two environmentally-themed courses and receive two college credits upon successful completion of the program.
Cost: $2,600 (tuition, course fees, housing, all meals and program costs)
Scholarships available! Scholarships are typically worth between 10-50% of program costs and can be applied to program costs. There is a separate application to apply for a scholarship. Please click on the “Scholarship Information” link for more information and to apply for a scholarship.
