Our new programs are designed to provide intermediate and advanced English language learners with an immersive experience, focusing on enhancing their language skills while deepening their understanding of American culture. These programs combine English language learning with unique cultural excursions, offering students the opportunity to explore the beautiful Montana landscape while gaining practical communication skills. At the end of each program, students will have developed the skills, confidence, and knowledge necessary to communicate effectively in a variety of contexts in the U.S. and will receive a 老虎机攻略 Certificate of Participation as a record of their achievements!

Experience the heart of American culture during one of its most patriotic holidays—July 4th! The Stars, Stripes, and Service-Learning Program offers high school students a unique opportunity to celebrate Independence Day while improving their English skills through service learning and community engagement. This special edition of our summer program includes participation in local July 4th festivities, hands-on service projects, and an unforgettable experience of U.S. culture.
Participants will engage in volunteer activities that give back to the Missoula community while also exploring the significance of civic responsibility and patriotism in American society. Combined with excursions that showcase the beauty of Montana, students will enjoy a balanced mix of service, adventure, and cultural celebration.
Program Highlights
- Daily Morning English Classes: Improve your communication skills while learning about U.S. history, traditions, and civic engagement.
- Service Projects in Missoula: Participate in community service projects that focus on sustainability, civic improvement, and supporting local nonprofit organizations.
- Special July 4th Celebrations: Join the local Missoula community for a full day of Independence Day activities, including a parade, fireworks, and a traditional BBQ.
- Afternoon and Evening Excursions: Explore the stunning landscapes of Missoula with hikes, rafting, and visits to local historical sites related to American independence.
Weekly Schedule Snapshot
Week 1 (Leading up to July 4th):
- Morning: English Classes (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Topics include American history, the significance of Independence Day, and language for community service and civic engagement. - Afternoon Excursion: Volunteer at Missoula Food Bank, helping prepare food packages for families in need while learning about local community support systems.
- Evening Activity: Participate in a BBQ cookout with local students and learn about traditional American cuisine, games, and July 4th customs.
July 4th:
- Morning: Attend Missoula’s July 4th Parade, where students will see firsthand how small-town America celebrates Independence Day. Participate in flag-making activities and enjoy classic parade floats.
- Afternoon: Experience a patriotic BBQ and picnic at Fort Missoula, complete with outdoor games, live music, and community activities.
- Evening: Watch a spectacular fireworks display over the city, followed by a reflection on the significance of the holiday and its cultural importance.
Service Projects Include
- Missoula Food Bank: Help pack and distribute food to families in need, supporting the community's most vulnerable.
- Habitat Restoration: Engage in conservation efforts by participating in river cleanups and habitat restoration projects along the Clark Fork River.
- Fourth of July Community Projects: Volunteer with local organizations to help prepare for the Independence Day parade and festivities, learning about the importance of community involvement in civic events.

Develop Your Leadership Skills Through Adventure in the Heart of Montana!

The Montana Outdoor Leadership Program is a unique two-week experience that combines English language learning with hands-on leadership training in a supportive and inspiring environment. Designed for high school students eager to develop practical leadership skills, this immersive program emphasizes team collaboration, effective communication, and personal growth—all set against Montana’s breathtaking natural backdrop.
Through structured outdoor activities and cultural experiences—like attending an American baseball game, participating in a tailgate party, and building camaraderie at a waterpark—students will learn to lead with confidence, adapt to new challenges, and work effectively as part of a team. This program prioritizes safety, structure, and skill-building, empowering students to discover the leader within themselves while creating unforgettable memories.
Program Highlights
- Daily Morning English Classes: Improve your English skills through engaging lessons that incorporate communication and leadership vocabulary. Our experienced instructors tailor lessons to the adventure themes of the day.
- Leadership and Team-Building Exercises: Participate in group activities that teach problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making in outdoor environments. Missoula’s Semi-Pro Baseball Game: Participants will be able to enjoy an evening at Ogren Park to watch our very own Missoula Paddleheads team. There will also be a tailgating event with 老虎机攻略 guest students before the game begins!
- Splash Montana: Enjoy a fantastic Missoula summer day in western Montana’s fun waterpark! Features include waterslides for tubes and body slides, a lazy river for tube floating, a fun non-deep splash pool, and sunny/shady areas for relaxing.
- Late Night Hike to M: The infamous hiking trail with a student guide to capture photo ops and amazing views!

Topics include teamwork vocabulary, leadership communication, and practical English for outdoor activities. - Afternoon: Cultural Engagement through Experimental Learning opportunities.
- Evening Activity: Dinner Picnic Excursion at Bonner Park to partake in ‘Downtown Tonite’- a Missoula summer classic that includes food trucks and live music!
- Perfect Missoula Weekend: Begin this day with a morning to the Missoula downtown Market where you will find a farmer’s market filled with local goods! You may then have the afternoon free to explore Downtown and shop! The evening may end with a semi-pro baseball game and a tailgate party beforehand!
