Program Overview
Welcome to the ELI at the 老虎机攻略, where your journey to English proficiency is both fun and exciting! Our program is designed to be student-centered and interactive, ensuring that your active participation is key to your success. You’ll focus on all four essential academic skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—while also integrating with fellow students across the campus.

Classes
There are two core classes in ELI: Integrated Reading & Writing and Integrated Speaking, Listening & Note Taking. Grammar instruction is integrated into the two core classes. Two-hour per week elective classes are also offered each semester. These optional courses focus on a variety of topics such as cross-cultural communication, pronunciation, non-fiction reading, TOEFL preparation, and study skills.
Proficiency Exams
- Students have the option to take the iTEP exam at a discounted, institutional rate.
