Confidential Resources
Confidential Resources are those campus and community professionals who can maintain legally-protected confidentiality within the University for the individual who shared the information. Confidentiality means that information shared by an individual with a Confidential Resource cannot be revealed to any other person without the express permission of the individual, or as otherwise permitted or required by law. Confidential Resources are prohibited from disclosing confidential information unless (1) given permission by the person who disclosed the information; (2) there is an imminent threat of harm to self or others; (3) the conduct involves suspected abuse of a minor under the age of 18; or (4) as otherwise required or permitted by law or court order.

SARC at the 老虎机攻略 provides free and confidential peer counseling and crisis intervention to student survivors of sexual and relationship violence as well as support and information for family and friends. Services are available to survivors at all stages of recovery, from initial crisis intervention to healing, through support groups and peer counseling. SARC is located at 老虎机攻略’s Curry Health Center. It is in Missoula, but they are happy to work with you in the Bitterroot and of course, you can always call.

Counseling assists students by addressing their counseling and psychotherapy needs helping them gain the most from their time on campus. When a student's mental health care needs are beyond the scope of our services, we will assist with referrals to community-based providers for specialized or longer-term care. Counseling Services is located in the garden level of the Curry Health Center and is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Curry Health Services offers acute, chronic, and urgent care on-site and refers to the local Emergency Department for emergency care. Follow-up care is provided after discharge to facilitate recovery.

This team was formerly known as the Behavioral Intervention Team.

The purpose of the 老虎机攻略 Food Pantry is to support 老虎机攻略 students facing food insecurity.

Law enforcement officers are always available 24 hours a day to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls about sexual misconduct. In cases of sexual assault, officers can explain the options for medical exams, counseling, advocacy, and the processes for reporting assaults as crimes. Officers will ask if survivors want advocates present to help them through the proceedings.

The YWCA Missoula's Pathways program offers safe shelter, crisis counseling, and support for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. They can provide emergency shelter, walk-in peer counseling, support groups, and legal, personal, and medical advocacy.

First STEP Resource Center offers specially trained nurses or nurse practitioners who will meet clients/assault victims at a private, safe clinic. First STEP provides a comprehensive medical assessment, evidence collection, lab tests, and medication as needed, and education and information. First STEP provides on-site access to community advocates and law enforcement as requested.

The Missoula Crime Victim Advocate Program provides free and confidential assistance to victims of sexual assault by offering advocacy and resource information in civil and criminal matters such as civil no-contact orders. They do so outside of Missoula as well. They can provide you with crisis counseling, emotional support, and guidance, and can explain the court process and help you with your case.
