Moratorium - B.S. Geography
The Geography major entered moratorium in Fall 2023. However, students may elect to use any Catalog starting with the first semester they enrolled in college to complete their degree (as long as it is no more than six years old at the time of graduation) and General Education requirements, even using different ones for their major and GenEd requirements. This means that Geography BS degrees can be awarded to students who enrolled in college in (or before) Spring 2023 and graduate in (or before) Spring 2029. Changing the Catalog used for those requirements in DegreeWorks can only be done by your Academic Advisor. Students entering in Fall 2023 or afterwards, are encouraged to consider the Environmental Science and Sustainability major, Geography and Mountains Minors, or the Water and GIS Certificates.
