Our Past Training
Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Training
This training, designed with and for BIA staff and partners, provided a comprehensive yet concise series of seven courses focused on enhancing knowledge and skills when working with Native children and families.

Disease Intervention Specialist Training
This training aimed to expand, increase, and sustain the DIS workforce to support jurisdictional communicable disease prevention and response through training and increased collaboration among county health departments. The training consisted of online training modules with virtual follow-up coaching sessions. The use of ProjectECHO®, with its all-teach, all-learn format, engaged the local health departments through didactic teaching and case presentations with discussion and recommendations.
The Center evaluated participant satisfaction and increased knowledge through surveys embedded throughout the online training and at the end of ProjectECHO® sessions.

Mental Health Resilience in Early Child Care Providers
This series was designed to enhance the mental health resilience of licensed child care providers. This comprehensive series comprised four courses that address key aspects of mental health awareness, resilience building, organizational wellness, and navigating grief and loss.

Let's Grow Montana
This training program offered diverse educational opportunities for professionals working with Montana's young children and families. This initiative catered to a broad audience, including home visitors, child care providers, Head Start and Early Head Start personnel, K-3 teachers, Sunday school teachers, family support program professionals, caseworkers, and interested community members.

This training provided a unique opportunity for participants to engage with seasoned practitioners who brought extensive experience in leading impactful change efforts within social services, healthcare, and education.

Rural Preceptor Training
This training was a specialized program designed for Montana preceptors, aimed at providing targeted and tailored support to enhance retention and job satisfaction among healthcare workers in the state. The free pilot program invited participation from Montana hospitals and clinics, fostering a learning community of preceptors dedicated to improving the precepting experience for the next generation of healthcare providers.

Tele-behavioral Health Tips and Best Practices
This training helped participants discover essential insights and expert guidance on providing tele-behavioral health services. The training was designed for behavioral health clinicians and clinic managers and focused on pertinent statutes, regulations, and best practices for delivering exceptional services in the rapidly evolving telehealth landscape.

Zero Suicide's Suicide Prevention in Healthcare
This training focused on enhancing suicide prevention skills among students in health professions programs at two-year colleges across Montana. The training, tailored for diverse health professions, includes information on, primary care's role in suicide prevention, screening techniques, safety planning, intervention strategies, means restriction, and fostering provider resilience.
