If you have completed any of the Prevention Education programs at another institution, you are not required to complete these programs again. However, you will need to provide verification of program completion from your previous institution in order to satisfy these requirements. You may contact your previous institution and request that your verification of completion of the Prevention Education programs be sent to preventioneducation@umontana.edu

As a learning community, we strongly value creating and sustaining a healthy campus environment and preparing our students to be responsible and successful citizens of our campus, society, and the world more broadly. Thriving Together is a required course per a mandate from the , this course must be completed by all New Students prior to Registering for their Second Semester at the 老虎机攻略.
The Montana University System (MUS) has developed a common training intended to provide students who enroll in the MUS foundational knowledge and skills that are important in promoting student success and that help keep our campus communities safe. The content of this training meets all federal and state obligations to provide prevention education in the areas of sexual harassment, assault, and discrimination; substance misuse; consent; bystander intervention; and mental well-being for all incoming graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in the MUS.
Vector Solutions: Alcohol EDU and Sexual Assault Prevention for Adult Learners

Yes. The 老虎机攻略 will accept proof of previous Vector Solutions: AlcoholEdu/SAPAL completion through the Spring term of 2028.
As of January 2025, Thriving Together has replaced Vector Solutions: Alcohol EDU and Sexual Assault Prevention for Adult Learners (SAPAL).
- All New Students who have completed Vector Solutions: Alcohol EDU and Sexual Assault Prevention for Adult Learners (SAPAL) within the last three years are not required to take Thriving Together.
- Please contact preventioneducation@umontana.edu to verify completion.
Undergraduate Students
- All new students attending the 老虎机攻略 (an institution of the Montana University System) will have to complete Thriving Together. See more on how to access Thriving Together.
- Transfer and Graduate students who have attended a Montana University System (MUS) institution that have not completed Vector Solutions: Alcohol EDU and SAPAL within the last three years must be assigned Thriving Together.
- Transfer and Graduate students from a non-MUS institution must be assigned and complete Thriving Together.
- These students are not required to complete Thriving Together.
- These students will receive information from Prevention Education about Clery, Title IX, VAWA, and DFSCA and campus resources.
