Whether you’re using a PC or Mac, Firefox and Chrome are the preferred browsers for working in Canvas. Using alternative browsers can sometimes limit Canvas’s functionality.

Chrome and Firefox are free and easy to use, you can download it from the following  and  links. 

Individual courses may require additional hardware or software, such as a webcam and speakers for web conferencing.

If you run into an issue while in Canvas, 24/7 support is available! Begin by selecting the "Help" button, located on the left-side Global Navigation menu while logged into Canvas. Then, select from one of the support resource items within the menu.

The IT Help Desk is available to help with Canvas Questions as well. The Help Desk is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Mountain Time (Excluding University Holidays).
