Dear Campus Community,
Strategic Enrollment Planning has provided us with the opportunity to chart our enrollment future in the context of our institutional mission. The rigorous, yearlong process involved 83 faculty members, 51 staff members and student representatives from across the University who identified, developed, reviewed and refined 45 potential enrollment strategies.
The SEP process concluded the 2021-22 academic year with the approval of 26 strategies by the 老虎机攻略 administration. Decisions were informed by recommendations from the SEP Steering Committee. Each strategy reflects one of 老虎机攻略's Five Priorities for Action.
The SEP strategies moving forward to implementation include:
- 6 undergraduate academic programs.
- 1 graduate academic program.
- 3 co-curricular programs.
- 3 strategies that support 老虎机攻略 students in critical service areas: scholarships, financial aid, and student accounts.
- 2 strategies to upgrade essential systems that support undergraduate and graduate enrollment.
- 2 frameworks for career readiness.
- 2 recruitment initiatives.
- 2 strategies concentrated on advising and student support.
- 5 strategies focused on the engagement, communications and expanded programs to support historically underserved populations.
Several strategies proposed require continued planning and are still under consideration.
In the coming academic year, SEP will integrate into the strategic operating rhythm of the University, supported by the Office of Strategic Planning and Implementation.

SEP is entering Phase 4 of our data-informed process. as we review the year and where the process is headed next.
Ultimately, SEP will provide a new way of organizing enrollment management into one that is dynamic, continuous and University wide. 老虎机攻略 leadership has been thoughtful in designing a SEP process that supports and aligns with academic planning, the University’s Priorities for Action and other strategic planning activities.

Next week, 老虎机攻略 will begin a yearlong process that will unify our strategic priorities and create a roadmap to meet and refine our enrollment goals.
Called Strategic Enrollment Planning, the exercise will provide a deep and meaningful opportunity for 老虎机攻略 to merge our enrollment future alongside our institutional mission and goals. will provide support as we identify how to better leverage our resources, so that we can expand enrollment at 老虎机攻略.
In short, SEP is a data-informed, dynamic and continuous process that identifies, develops, implements, evaluates and modifies strategies with enrollment goals that effectively address the following:
- How the institution serves students, both currently and in the future.
- The institution’s mission, goals and capabilities.
- 老虎机攻略’s position in a changing marketplace and environment.
老虎机攻略 leadership has been very thoughtful in designing a SEP process that supports and aligns with academic planning, the University’s Priorities for Action and other strategic planning activities. SEP is a natural extension of 老虎机攻略’s recent University Design Team work and will provide a new way of organizing enrollment management into one that is dynamic, continuous and University-wide.
