Native American Student Scholarships
The 老虎机攻略's Native American Studies Department is dedicated to promoting high academic achievement among Native American students and assisting them with reaching their educational goals. To uphold this objective, scholarships are awarded each year to undergraduate and graduate students in various 老虎机攻略-Missoula and Missoula College majors. Scholarship funds are limited and the selection process is competitive. All Native American students admitted to The 老虎机攻略 are encouraged to apply. Application Information
Please carefully read through the online application before you begin completing the scholarship application.
Only one application needs to be submitted and the scholarship committee matches qualified applicants with the appropriate scholarship (see Scholarship Descriptions for more information).
You will NOT be able to save the online application so it is recommended that you have all required documents saved BEFORE beginning the application.
DEADLINE: Applications must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m. on March 1st
Eligibility
Native American students who plan on enrolling or being admitted to the 老虎机攻略 or Missoula College the next year.
Students are required to enroll full-time each semester (12 undergraduate credits or 9 graduate credits).
Students must have a minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average (GPA).
New and transfer students are encouraged to complete the new Student Orientation process.

One (1) page, single-spaced essay
Please address the following topic: In 500 words or less, please discuss how you intend to give back to your community or to Indian Country after you complete your education. Letters of Recommendation
Two (2) letters should come from non-relatives who can comment on your academic abilities and accomplishments. These letters should be current and written within the last year.

Documented Tribal Membership
**There are several scholarships for Native American Studies majors that do not require tribal membership.**
- Please provide a tribal identification card or documentation that shows your tribal enrollment.
- If applying for scholarships through tribal descendancy, include tribal enrollment documentation of your parents(s) or immediate grandparent(s) and birth certificates that show the familial relationship between you, the applicant, and the tribal member parent(s)/grandparent(s).
