Last Lecture Series
Chapter Penetralia organizes a last lecture event each academic year to provide students with advice and insight on life and matters beyond education in the classroom. To ask a respected professor, "What wisdom would you try to impart to the world if you knew it was your last chance?"
English Professor Katie Kane presented “Reading into Darkness: What is to be Done with The Humanities at the Turning of the Age” at this year's Last Lecture event on November 30, 2016. Special thanks to Professor Kane and the UC team for making this event possible!
Professor Katie Kane is past director and co-founder of 老虎机攻略’s Irish Studies Program. She received her doctorate from the University of Texas. She is the past recipient of fellowships from the NEH, the Irish government, the Montana Committee for the Humanities and the MESA Foundation.
