Applicant Tracking System Access for Search Committees
老虎机攻略 operates two applicant tracking systems to advertise positions, collect applications, evaluate candidates' applications, and hire.
Interfolio Faculty Search is utilized for faculty, academic administrator (i.e. deans), and postdoctoral research associate recruitments.
NeoEd Insight and the Online Hiring Center hosts all staff and contract professional (Letter of Appointment and MUS Contract Professional) recruitments as well as recruitments for temporary staff including the temporary employee pool.

Brief Overview
Advertising:

- Applications received by mail, in-person, emailed, or faxed will not be accepted or considered.

Screening:
- Screening must be based on the candidates’ merit and qualifications relative to the position announcement.
- We do not use a point-based screening system.
- No consideration may be made in the hiring process to an individual’s race, color, religion, national origin, creed, service in the uniformed services (as defined in state and federal law), veteran status, political ideas, sexual orientation, sex, age, marital or family status, or physical or mental disability, when the reasonable demands of the position do not require an age, physical or mental disability, marital status or sex distinction.
- After the search committee screens candidates and makes selections for interviews, Talent Acquisition Specialists will conduct a review and grant approval to conduct interviews.
- Interview questions are also reviewed by the TA Specialist.
- Reviews take between 3-5 business days depending on recruitment volume and size of pool.
Interviewing:
- Interview questions must be approved by HRS prior to conducting interviews. Ask only questions that are job specific.
- No questions may be asked regarding an individual’s race, color, religion, national origin, creed, service in the uniformed services (as defined in state and federal law), veteran status, political ideas, sexual orientation, sex, age, marital or family status, or physical or mental disability, when the reasonable demands of the position do not require an age, physical or mental disability, marital status or sex distinction.
- Be prepared to answer questions from the candidates.
- It may be appropriate to refer question outside of the committee (e.g., HRS).
- All written notes from interviews must be forwarded to the TA Specialist for recordkeeping.
Reference Checking:
- New: Ask your recruiter about using SkillSurvey for reference checking.
- Two satisfactory references are required before an offer is approved by HRS.
- Ask permission from candidate before contacting any references.
- Conducted after an interview.
- Reference checking is done as due diligence to verify employment and performance.
Offer Approval:
- Your TA Specialist will review and approval all offers for recruited positions.
- For an offer to be approved, HRS must receive the following:
- Justifications in the appropriate ATS (NeoEd or Interfolio)
- Interview notes from all committee members
- Notes can be submitted through email, shared drive (OneDrive, Box), or sent through campus mail
- Two satisfactory reference checks with notes submitted to HRS.
- New: Ask your recruiter about using SkillSurvey for reference checking.
- Reviews take about 2 business days.
- Start Date: Your TA Specialist will provide you with available start dates according to the Biweekly Payroll Schedule.
- All new hires start on the first business day of the payroll period to ensure campus processes are completed so the employee is ready with 老虎机攻略 network and email access on day one!
