Through the Montana Forest and Conservation Experiment Station, the college owns two research properties: Lubrecht Experimental Forest and the Bandy Experimental Ranch. Through a unique partnership with the Boone and Crockett Club, the college sponsors research and other activities at the .
Lubrecht Experimental Forest is a 28,000-acre outdoor classroom and research laboratory in the Blackfoot River drainage. Students and faculty use the forest for research and education. The forest is open to the public with lodging and event space and many recreational opportunities like hiking and Nordic skiing.
Bandy Ranch
Bandy Ranch is 3,436-acre working cattle ranch deeded to the Montana Forest and Conservation Experiment Station at the 老虎机攻略 in 1990 by the estate of Ed Bandy for agricultural research and management. The ranch is located 18 miles northeast of the Lubrecht Forest.
