Connect with ODE

Are you new to ODE and need accommodations? First, let's register with our office to connect. Students take the following four steps.

Step 1: Contact ODE

There are three ways to contact us: 

Step 2: Receive an email notification

We will inform you of your assigned consultant so you can schedule an initial meeting. 

Step 3: Schedule an initial meeting

You can use Accommodate to make an appointment with your consultant. If you have trouble using the online system, call the office at 406-243-2243. 

Please submit documentation or bring it to your appointment. If you don't have documentation, do not worry. You can always submit your documentation after your appointment.

Step 4: Complete an initial meeting 

Complete an initial meeting with the consultant via Zoom, phone, or in person. The meeting will likely last 30 to 60 minutes.  

ODE explores accommodations through an interactive process. During your initial meeting, your consultant will discuss accommodations and procedures. Documentation and your description of academic barriers you experience related to your disability are important for the consultant to determine effective accommodations.

  • Check-in locations: 

    • In-person appointments on the Mountain Campus: Room 104 in Aber Hall. 
    • In-person appointment at Missoula College: Room 129

    Late arrivals  

    If you are more than 15 minutes late, please reschedule your appointment.

    Rescheduling or cancellation

    Call the ODE office at 406-243-2243. If you booked your appointment through our online portal, you can cancel or reschedule your appointment online. View Schedule appointments.

  • Please submit your disability documentation to ODE by one of the following three options:

    A. Use the ODE's online portal Accommodate (if you already have access) 

    Please note the portal only accepts PDF or Word files. 

    1. Log in to .
    2. Click the  Documentation tab in the left sidebar.
    3. Click the Add New button, complete the Student Document, and click the Submit button.
    4. Email your consultant to notify them you've uploaded documentation.

    or

    C. Fax to our office at 406-243-5330.

    • You will receive an accommodation letter from ODE. Your consultant emails the letter to you or notifies you the letter is ready for you to download from the ODE portal. View How to Access Your Verification Letter.  Check your 老虎机攻略 Connect Student Email. 

    • You will be responsible for contacting your instructor with the letter and requesting accommodations in a timely manner, as retroactive requests will not be honored.
