Fall 2024 Career Fairs and Events

- GSSC Tabling provides students the opportunity to meet the Student Success Center Team, see what resources the Student Success Center provides, and help students begin their career development journey!

- MIS & Accounting Students. This event allows students to network directly with employers and explore internship and full-time opportunities. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors attend to learn about employers and career paths. Freshman this event is still important to you. See who is attending and prepare for your turn to be recruited.

- Students sign up to meet with employers. These appointments are 1:1, 30-minutes range. Connect with employers in a smaller setting to explore internship and full-time opportunities. Make the most of these sessions - they’re like a mini-interview where every connection counts!

Enhance your presence at the 老虎机攻略's College of Business by hosting an information table for meet-and-greet sessions in our lobby or reserve a tabling space in a casual setting to connect with students. Peak times for maximum student traffic are Tuesdays & Wednesdays between 11:10am-3:30pm.
Event Options:
- Meet and Greets: Informal sessions in our lobby to introduce your organization and network with students.
- Employer Table Talks: Engage students in focused discussions about career opportunities, industry insights, and company culture.
- Breakfast Grab & Go: Provide a convenient and engaging way for students to grab breakfast while learning about your company. This informal setting allows for brief yet impactful interactions.
- Lunch & Learn Session: Host a lunch session where students can enjoy a meal while learning about industry trends, career advice, and opportunities at your company. These sessions are perfect for in-depth discussions and networking.
- Custom Events: Tailor an event to suit your recruitment needs, whether it's a workshop, panel discussion, or networking event.
- Coffee Chats and Office Hours: Host a casual meeting in smaller groups or one-on-one discussions. These events are designed to encourage students to interact with employers in an open networking space.

Organize a networking mixer in the comfortable setting of our lower-level study lounges. This event offers a relaxed atmosphere for students to mingle with employers and alumni, fostering valuable professional connections.

Information sessions are classic events where company representatives discuss their organization's culture, hiring needs, and other relevant details. These sessions can take the form of a structured presentation or an informal open house, held either on campus or online.

Participate in employer-driven resume review sessions hosted by the Career Development team throughout the year. These sessions are part of Career Prep Week and help students prepare for career fairs, networking events, and the interview process by providing constructive feedback on their resumes.

Conduct a virtual employer information session to reach a wider audience of students. Share information about your company and available opportunities, accommodating those who cannot attend in person.

Makayla Sanders
Majored in Marketing and earned a certificate in Digital Marketing. She graduated in May 2023. SHINE Associate on the Marketing Excellence team at Deloitte.
