Major Changes
Major changes, as well as concentration, minor, and certificate changes, can be submitted by advisors, deans, department chairs, and authorized department designees.
Deadlines
Major changes and other curriculum changes will be effective for the current semester only if submitted before or during the first 15 class days of the semester. Otherwise, they will be effective for the upcoming semester.

How to Submit
Advisors and authorized designees may email major change requests to graduation@umontana.edu. Please CC the student's 老虎机攻略Connect email and the advisors of both majors on the emailed request.
Include the following information:
- Student Name
- Student ID Number
- Semester
- Major/minor/concentration to add, if applicable
- Major/minor/concentration to remove, if applicable
- Specify which major should be primary (Note that primary majors affect financial aid eligibility)
- Include the student's 老虎机攻略Connect email and the advisors of both the majors being dropped and added
Licensure Programs
Licensure programs require students to submit an attestation confirming which state they intend to pursue licensure in upon graduating to ensure that the 老虎机攻略's curriculum will adequately prepare them for that state's licensure requirements.
Advisors and authorized department officials may submit major changes involving licensure programs through the online request form. This form will automatically notify the student that a is needed in order to proceed with their major change.
Intra-Campus File Transfers
If a student is changing from a Missoula College major to a Mountain Campus major, they must do an intra-campus transfer.
When switching campuses for the first time, students must work with the given the different admissions requirement for both campuses.
All subsequent intra-campus changes can be submitted to graduation@umontana.edu using the Intra-Campus File Transfer form.
