Missoula College and Bitterroot College students fill out the same scholarship application through the 老虎机攻略 Scholarship Portal that Mountain Campus students do.
Due to the generosity of many gracious donors through Missoula College, we are able to offer several different scholarships to Missoula College and 老虎机攻略 Bitterroot College students. We are thankful for the generous support provided by friends, community, business and industry partners, and alumni of Missoula College. Scholarships help Missoula College students persist and proceed to earning credentials, certificates and degrees and mean so much to each scholarship recipient. With additional financial support, students are able to complete their degree with less stress and quickly join the workforce upon graduation. To apply for any of the Missoula College scholarship opportunities listed below, or to view specific scholarship deadlines, use the 老虎机攻略 scholarship portal. Missoula College highly encourages students to fill out the general scholarship application in the portal to be considered for a scholarship.
For context (and as an example of the scholarship award year), if a Missoula College student fills out a scholarship application on January 16 2024 or March 3, 2025, the Missoula College scholarship committee will meet in early May 2024 to finalize and determine scholarship recipients for the summer 2025, fall 2025 and spring 2026 academic year.

Daneke Family Scholarship for Industrial Technology $1,000
The Daneke Family Scholarship will provide a scholarship to a Missoula College student enrolled in the Industrial Technology department and who has financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
First Call Computer Solutions Scholarship $1,000
The Fund will provide renewable scholarships to 老虎机攻略 undergraduate students in the Applied Computing and Engineering Technology Department according to the following guidelines:
Recipient selection: Recipients will be first or second year students, in good academic standing who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. 2. Responsibility for selection: Awarding the First Call Computer Solutions Scholarship shall be the responsibility of the scholarship selection committee appointed by the dean or (dean's designate) of the Missoula College. The committee shall determine the amounts of the scholarship awards and the recipients.
Glacier Rise Restaurant Group R.I.S.E. Scholarship $1,000
The Glacier Rise Restaurant Group R.I.S.E. Scholarship will provide a Missoula College student in any discipline with a scholarship.
Joseph and Kathleen Eckhart Endowed Scholarship $4,200
The Joseph and Kathleen Eckhart Endowed Scholarship provides Missoula College students participating in the Associate of Science degree in Nursing (ASN), Registered Nursing (RN), Surgical Technology, Paramedicine or Medical Assisting programs at Missoula College. For the 2023-2024 academic year, five students were selected.
Joseph M. Cornell Scholarship $2,000
The Joseph M. Cornell Scholarship provides two students in the Registered Nursing Program and/or in the Paralegal Studies A.A.S. program a $1,000 scholarship. Recipients should be from one of the following counties: Mineral, Sanders, Lake, Powell, Granite, or Ravalli.
Kent Hamer Student Support Fund $10,000
Through the Kent Hamer Student Support Fund, Missoula College is able to provide scholarships to Missoula College students with financial hardship impacting their ability to continue their education. To be eligible for assistance, students must meet in person or virtually with the Director for Student Success at Missoula College and must also demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Awards range from $500 to $2,000.
Kent Hamer Scholarship $30,000
Due to the generosity of Missoula College's gracious donor, Kent Hamer, Missoula College is able to provide $2,000 scholarships to Missoula College students who demonstrate academic merit or to students with financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Each year, half of these awards are awarded to students who demonstrate need and half of the awards are awarded for those with high academic merit.
Lynn Stocking Memorial Scholarship $1,400
As a wonderful former Associate Dean of the Missoula College, The Lynn Stocking Memorial Scholarship provides a scholarship to a Missoula College student enrolled in any program at Missoula College. Students must show financial need (as determined by the Financial Aid Office).
Missoula Bone and Joint Radiology Technology Scholarship $1,000
The Missoula Bone and Joint Radiology Technology Scholarship fund will provide a scholarship to a new or continuing Radiologic Technology Program student. Recipient must be a resident of or high school graduate of Missoula, Ravalli, or Sanders County with a GPA of at least 3.0.
Norco Scholarships $2,250
The Norco Scholarships will be used to administer scholarship funding to Respiratory Care students. One $1,250 award will be awarded to a Missoula College student in their second year of the Respiratory Care program and enrolled full-time. Two additional $500 awards will be chosen at the MSRC conference.
NBRC Respiratory Therapy Scholarship $5,000
The NBRC Respiratory Therapy Scholarship provides students in the Respiratory Therapy program with at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA with scholarships. The Missoula College scholarship committee should determine the amount of the recipients and the awards.
Percy and Adrienne Frazier Culinary Arts Scholarship $5,000
The Percy and Adrienne Frazier Culinary Arts Scholarship provides scholarships to students in Missoula College's Culinary Arts program with financial need. The Missoula College scholarship committee should determine the amount of the recipients and the awards.
Shawn L. Leonard Memorial Scholarship $500
The Shawn L. Leonard fund will provide a scholarship to a Missoula College student in the Information Technology Program at Missoula College who identifies as "non-traditional", has financial need, is in good academic standing and has had to overcome a significant hardship or difficulty.
William H. and Margaret M. Wallace Foundation Scholarship $6,800
The William H. and Margaret M. Wallace Foundation Scholarship provides scholarships for deserving students at Missoula College, with preference given to high school graduates from Granite or Powell counties. Awards usually range from $500 to $2,000.
W.J. Gallagher Missoula College Scholarship $35,900
The purpose of the W.J. Gallagher College of Technology Scholarship is to provide scholarships to high school seniors or incoming traditional freshman from Western Montana or Hobson with recommendations from area high schools. Awards are generally $500. Please note, dual enrollment students are eligible for this scholarship! Shirley Christianson Nursing Scholarship $1,000
The Fund will provide scholarships to 老虎机攻略 undergraduate students in the Missoula College Nursing Program according to the following guidelines:
- Recipient selection: Deserving students enrolled in the Missoula College Nursing Program who are in good standing.
- Responsibility for selection: Awarding the Shirley Christianson Nursing Endowed Scholarship shall be the responsibility of the scholarship selection committee authorized to award scholarships to students in the Missoula College Nursing Program. The committee shall determine the amounts of the scholarship awards and the recipients. However, one meaningful award rather than several smaller awards is preferred.
