Personal Summary
Elizabeth grew up in small towns in Nebraska, and later studied history at her undergraduate school Chadron State College. Her senior year of undergrad, she studied abroad for a year in Prague, Czech Republic. Here she found a love for international affairs and experiencing other cultures. She completed her Master's Degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University in Washington, D.C. Elizabeth’s family moved to Missoula and here she joined the Mansfield Center. She is passionate about Mike Mansfield’s message of fostering globally minded leaders, building relationships between the US and other countries, and bringing democracy and international experiences to rural areas. Elizabeth works on the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Fellows Program (YSEALI PFP). She believes in connecting Americans and Southeast Asians individuals and organizations through the PFP civic engagement program and Fellowships.
